
It is our great pleasure to introduce our new IntLawGrrls contributor Ali Cain!
Ali Cain is a graduate student at Columbia University and is pursuing an MA in European History, Politics and Law. Her MA research is focused on far-right transnational populism in Europe and its effects on human rights. Ali is also the Program Coordinator for the Cardozo Law Institute in Holocaust and Human Rights (CLIHHR), where she oversees the Institute’s events and publications. She holds a BA in Political Science and History from Binghamton University and is an alumna of the JFEW SUNY Global Affairs Program. After graduating from Binghamton University in 2016, she participated in the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) Program, a year-long State Department Fellowship in Germany where she conducted research on refugee integration as well as Holocaust remembrance culture throughout Europe. Ali is currently a member of the Women in Foreign Policy Group and has previously published with Freedom House, Columbia University’s RightsView Blog, and Binghamton University.
