Go On! ISISC Course in ICL for Young Penalists in Siracusa, Italy (deadline 20 March)

It’s last call for the International Institute of Higher Studies in Criminal Sciences (ISISC)’s 15th Specialization Course in International Criminal Law for Young Penalists on “Global Issues and their Impact on the Future of Human Rights and International Criminal Justice”. The course will take place from May 31st to June 10th, 2015 in Siracusa (Italy),  and is open to all international graduate law students.

ISISC will select 60 participants who should have at a minimum a first degree in law, having graduated in the last eight years (between 2007 – 2015), and be 35 years of age or under. Furthermore, the Institute will offer 10 scholarships to applicants from Developing and Less Developed Countries. Applications should be submitted by March 20th, 2015.

Go On! Summer school in Copenhagen for PhD students and junior scholars

The Centre of Excellence for International Courts (iCourts) and PluriCourts – Centre for the Study of the Legitimate Roles of the Judiciary in the Global Order are hosting a high-level summer school for PhD students and junior scholars working on international law and with a special interest in interdisciplinary studies of international law and its social and political context. They particularly welcome students and scholars who are writing up a PhD thesis or a post-doc project that involves an interdisciplinary study of one or more international courts.

The summer school will take place on June 23-27 in the center of Copenhagen and is offered free of charge (excluding expenses related to travel and accommodation). Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis until 1 May 2014.
