Griffith College in Dublin, Ireland, will be hosting the 2nd annual Human Rights and Mass Atrocities Law Seminar taking place from June 19-21.

The 3 day certificate seminar will deep dive into the following topics: wildlife crimes, child sex crimes, universal jurisdiction, starvation as a mass atrocity, post colonialism, indigenous rights and climate change, human rights defenders, and prosecuting genocide cases.

Work On! Tilburg University Summer School

Work On! is an occasional item about workshops, roundtables, and other fora that do not necessarily include publication:

Tilburg University, located in The Netherlands, is offering a two-week summer school course from the 8th – 19th of July, focusing on conflict-related sexual violence and human trafficking. Participants of the course will delve into the opportunities and challenges in addressing those two areas. The course will be taught by experts Dr. Anne-Marie de Brouwer and Dr. Eefje de Volder from IMPACT: Center Against Human Trafficking and Sexual Violence in Conflict. There is a 10% early bird discount (deadline March 31st) and the deadline for course registration is May 31st.

Go on! International Law Association Regional Conference in Slovenia 2019

Go On! makes note of interesting conferences, lectures, and similar events.

The International Law Association (ILA) – Slovene Branch announced open registration for the ILA Regional Conference in Slovenia, which will be held on June 27-30, 2019, in Portorož at a beautiful seaside resort 1.5 hours away from Ljubljana. The theme of the conference is “Migration / International Law Regulation” and will address both Public International and Private International Law concerns. Please note the the Super Early Bird Registration deadline is Friday, February 1, 2019.
