The nongovernmental organization Save the Children, founded nearly 100 years ago by Eglantyne Jebb (an Englishwoman whom IntLawGrrls has honored as a foremother), is accepting applications for the position of Associate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, who
‘will partner closely with other departments throughout the agency and with Save the Children International to help oversee and manage domestic and overseas legal needs and exposures while seeking to achieve the agency’s programmatic and other aims.’
The position will be based at one of the NGO’s offices, either in Washington, D.C., or in Westport, Connecticut. Minimum qualifications include a J.D. degree; 8-10 years in-house, firm, or government legal experience; and admission to practice (already or soon after) in D.C. or Connecticut.
